The Solution
Advantage IT Management decided to implement ThreatLocker’s application whitelisting, ringfencing, and data storage control solution. ThreatLocker's solution stood out because it offered application control, storage control, and administration elevation in a way that other products did not. The solution's learning mode allowed Advantage IT Management to implement the solution without interrupting anything in any client environment. Once enabled, the solution caused very little noise. The application control prevents clients from installing software, accessing nefarious websites, or clicking the wrong link in an email. The solution also allows administrator access to individual applications on an as-needed basis.

In-vehicle communications and entertainment system hosts high-value or sensitive applications. API libraries facilitate communication and sharing of vehicle data. These API libraries are vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering attacks and may even result in loss of passenger safety.
