The Challenge
ADP faced significant challenges in protecting customer assets against complex, advanced cyber attacks. The primary concerns were achieving true visibility and transparency across the enterprise and client platforms, and ensuring the efficacy of security controls. The goal was to shift from a reactive to a preventive security model, reducing the attack surface, particularly at the endpoint level. The need for an OS-independent, high-usability endpoint security solution was paramount.
The Solution
ADP chose Bromium Advanced Endpoint Security, leveraging its micro-virtualization technology to isolate tasks from the operating system in a micro-VM. This approach significantly reduced the endpoint attack surface and provided granular visibility into malware through Bromium Threat Analysis. The deployment was a top-down, company-directed effort, integrating Bromium technology into ADP’s trusted platform security infrastructure. This integration allowed ADP to consume Bromium threat intelligence and gain detailed insights into attacks, enhancing their proactive security posture.
