7-Eleven Hawaii first used Trumpia’s software for the Oahu locations. They created the mobile keyword “PROMOS.” This mobile keyword campaign gained over 3,700 sign-ups. Sending thousands of text promotions was easy, but they didn’t stop at simple messaging. With Trumpia's powerful automation technologies, they were able to boost coupon redemption rates by sending a reminder five days before coupon expiration to anyone who hadn’t redeemed it yet. After seeing the success of their campaign, they expanded it to all 62 locations.
