About The Customer
The Flint Boys and Girls Club is a community organization that provides a safe space for children. They cater to 160-180 children daily during the school year and up to 250 children a day during the summer. The club is committed to the safety and well-being of the children they serve, making it crucial to have a reliable and high-quality surveillance system in place.
The Challenge
The Flint Boys and Girls Club was in need of a new video surveillance system. Their previous system was aging and lacked the image quality and zoom capabilities they desired. The club serves a large number of children daily, making it crucial to have a reliable surveillance system to ensure their safety. The club had expanded their old system to 16 cameras, covering more areas, but the quality was not up to par.
The Solution
3xLOGIC and Sonitrol Great Lakes collaborated to design and install a new, fully-IP system of 16 4MP cameras, backed by a 3xLOGIC V5000 server. The new system monitors key areas inside the club and outside, including the entrance approach and the parking lot. The new 3xLOGIC IP cameras provided a significant improvement in image quality and ease of use. The system also allows for 24/7 mobile access to camera views, providing peace of mind for the club's staff. The companies have also recommended installing a 3xLOGIC VISIX Facial Recognition camera to further enhance the club's security measures.
