Company Description | SINTEF is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia. They create value through knowledge generation, research and innovation, and develop technological solutions that are brought into practical use. SINTEF is a broadly based, multidisciplinary research concern that possesses international top-level expertise in technology, medicine and the social sciences, and their aim is to become the most renowned contract research institution in Europe. SINTEF is an independent, non-commercial organisation. The profits of their contract research projects are invested in new research, scientific equipment and competence development. In the course of the past five years, they have invested NOK 500 million of our own funds in laboratories and scientific equipment. SINTEF has clients in about 60 different countries. In 2012, 17 percent of our turnover was derived from international contracts. About 50 percent of their international turnover comes from the EU’s research programmes, in which SINTEF is a leading participant. European Union projects are given high priority, because they believe that it is important to participate in multinational knowledge-generation efforts, and because such projects give them access to interesting networks. Their ambition is to grow in the international R & D market, and for this reason, they are investing in areas in which they are particularly strong: oil and gas, energy and the environment, materials technology, maritime and biomarine technology, ICT, building research and medical technology. | ams AG, formerly known as austriamicrosystems AG and still known as AMS (Austria Mikro Systeme), is a multinational semiconductor manufacturer. The headquarters are located in Premstätten (Styria, Austria). The main fields of the business are the development and production of high performance analog Integrated Circuitry (ICs) such as standard analog products as well as customer specific solutions (ASICs). | Cognex Corporation is the world leading provider of vision systems, vision software, vision sensors and surface inspection systems used in manufacturing automation. Cognex is also a leader in industrial ID readers.
Cognex vision helps companies improve product quality, eliminate production errors, lower manufacturing costs, and exceed consumer expectations for high quality products at an affordable price. | Softeq Development Corporation was founded in 1997 in Houston, TX, as a full-stack software development services provider. Over the years, we shifted our focus from mobile and web application development to niche solutions — particularly, Machine Learning, immersive technologies and software and hardware for the Internet of Things. | Hikvision is an IoT solution provider with video as its core competency. Hikvision advances the core technologies of audio and video encoding, video image processing, and related data storage, as well as forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and big data. Over the past several years, We deepened its knowledge and experience in meeting customer needs in various vertical markets, including public security, transportation, retail, education, healthcare, financial institutions, intelligent buildings and others. Accordingly, the company provides professional and customized solutions to meet diverse market requirements. In addition to the video security industry, Hikvision extended its business to smart home tech, industrial automation, and automotive electronics industries — all based on video intelligence technology — to explore channels for sustaining long-term development. |
