Company Description | As part of the TKH group, LMI Technologies is focused on the design, development, and delivery of smart 3D technologies, while our sister machine vision companies are dedicated to providing high-performance camera-based solutions. | ams AG, formerly known as austriamicrosystems AG and still known as AMS (Austria Mikro Systeme), is a multinational semiconductor manufacturer. The headquarters are located in Premstätten (Styria, Austria). The main fields of the business are the development and production of high performance analog Integrated Circuitry (ICs) such as standard analog products as well as customer specific solutions (ASICs). | Cognex Corporation is the world leading provider of vision systems, vision software, vision sensors and surface inspection systems used in manufacturing automation. Cognex is also a leader in industrial ID readers.
Cognex vision helps companies improve product quality, eliminate production errors, lower manufacturing costs, and exceed consumer expectations for high quality products at an affordable price. | Founded in 2004 as FS Systems, and now Fisher Smith, we have over 50 combined years of experience of machine vision and Industrial Control Systems. Our knowledge and technical abilities has enabled us to develop two key software products, RoboVis® and GenVis. Written and developed in house by Iain Smith with usability and flexibility in mind, both products have become mature and stable machine vision platforms. | XARION Laser Acoustics is a provider of unique, laser-based acoustic sensors. The membrane-free optical microphone uses an IP-protected principle of operation: it detects sound based on its ability to change the speed of light. Since no mechanically movable or deformable parts are involved in this approach, the sensor comes with a linear frequency response free from mechanical resonances. The microphone shows an unprecedented frequency bandwidth exceeding state of the art solutions by a factor of ten. | Riseye(Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in machine vision inspection and industrial intelligence. It originated from the Computer Vision Laboratory of Shanghai Jiaotong University founded by Professor Liu Yuncai, the special professor of the National Education Minister Jiang Scholars in 2000. |
IoT Solutions | Our flagship Gocator and FocalSpec product lines help factories achieve 100% inspection, reduce waste by optimization, and improve efficiency by simplifying automation. Trusted in the most challenging applications, our 3D solutions help customers improve control of their processes and stay ahead of the competition. | Cognex machine vision and barcode reading tools enable companies around the world to improve assembly verification, eliminate defects, automate production and identify challenging barcodes reliably across a wide range of industries and applications. | For the detection of sound waves, conventional microphones use membranes or other moving parts as intermediaries between the incoming acoustic and the resulting electrical quantity. For acoustic ultrasound sensors based on piezoelectric crystals, the approach is similar: the acoustic wave mechanically deforms the crystal. In contrast, the patented idea behind XARION’s Optical Microphone is to exploit another, completely different property of sound: the fact that sound changes the speed of light! In a rigid Fabry-Pérot laser interferometer consisting of two miniaturized mirrors, sound pressure changes the refractive index of the air. This alters the optical wavelength and the light transmission which consequently leads to the respective electrical signal. In contrast to conventional microphones, the Optical Microphone is the world's first microphone without any moving parts. No mechanically movable or physically deformable parts are involved. By consequence, the sensors exhibit a compelling frequency bandwidth, free from mechanical resonances. The sensor principle is highly sensitive. In fact, refractive index changes below 10-14 can be detected with this technology. This corresponds to pressure changes as small as 1 ?Pa. | Riseye has machine vision and artificial intelligence core technologies based on deep learning-based visual inspection, high-precision visual positioning, sub-pixel visual measurement, etc., and successfully developed visual appearance inspection system, 3D vision measurement system, and visual scan code recognition system. Standard products that are common across industries, as well as non-standard products that can be customized according to customer needs of different industries, provide intelligent, high-efficiency, low-cost machine vision solutions for automation integrators, automation equipment manufacturers and terminal manufacturing enterprises. | ||
