EXPEMB developed the concept of Operational Innovation to support manufacturers whose life cycles and product features are overwhelmed by innovations borne by the consumer market. | Webdyn is the brand of Flexitron Group dedicated to design and manufacture industrial IoT solutions, routers, modems and gateways for wireless communication GSM (LTE / 4G / 3G / 2G), wired (RS232, RS485, Ethernet or CAN) and short-range wireless (Bluetooth) , Wi-Fi or LoRa). With more than 30 years of experience, Flexitron Group provides the best technological devices and services through its subsidiaries, developing connected solutions adapted to international markets and customers. We designed our product portfolio to help our partners access opportunities within the rapidly growing IoT and Industrial IoT environment. We propose IoT modems, gateways and routers for all your IoT applications. From automation, metering or photovoltaic, to public transport connectivity – hundreds of thousands of our networking devices are currently at the heart of our partners’ IoT solutions. | Founded in 1985, Unidata is a leader in the telecommunications sector, with over 30 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology. Initially focused on hardware (PCs and Servers), became rapidly one of the first Italian Internet Service Provider and in 2004 it also became a Telco Company. Leveraging on the open-standard technology LoRa and LoRaWAN, the R&D department of Unidata has developed UniOrchestra, a connectivity platform, heart of all IoT solutions of the company and in 2016 Unidata became one of the first Italian IoT Service Provider. | Established in 2010, EWATT Technology specializes in developing industrial-grade Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and implementing complete UAV solutions for industrial and security purposes. EWATT’s primary business activities include the Research, Design & Development and production of unmanned aircraft and payloads. The company also provides a range of UAV services, including implementing complete UAV solutions which allow clients to conduct UAV missions and collect, process and analyze data from said missions. EWATT Technology is a listed company (Beijing OTC stock code: 834809) with a registered capital of 50.87 million Chinese Yuan. It employs more than 300 people, including more than 80 R&D and technical support engineers in Chinese HQ, and two R&D centers located in Italy. EWATT has filed over 500 patents related to UAV embedded technologies in China, with a large number already approved. Products and Services EWATT offers a full range of UAV aircraft including multi-rotors, fixed wings and helicopters. In addition, the company also offers a broad range of UAV payloads. These include in-house solutions such as long-range optical zoom cameras, infrared cameras, night vision systems and flame throwers, as well as integrated payloads from third-party suppliers including LiDARs, multi- & hyperspectral cameras, UV cameras. Depending on the deployment objectives, EWATT’s integrated UAV solutions may consist of one or more the following elements: • Hardware - Aircraft, payloads, deployment & command trucks • Software - UAV traffic management systems and drone storage systems • Services - Collecting, processing and analyzing data acquired from missions, developing UAV mission procedures and providing training. Over the years, EWATT has successfully delivered solutions for a number of clients, including news agencies, power grid companies, law enforcement, maritime and water conservation agencies and fire departments. | Definium Technologies is a full-service solutions provider which designs and manufactures intelligent sensors and control systems for a wide range of applications. Definium is primarily interested in servicing the Internet of Things market and produces an array of long-range radio client and gateway products utilising Semtech’s LoRa technology.
In addition to building its own devices, Definium also provides contract services to third-party companies to design and/or manufacture electronic devices. Available services include complete ground-up design of electronics, in-line surface-mount assembly and vapour-phase vacuum reflow, manual assembly and through-hole soldering, x-ray inspection and analysis of devices, and Firmware installation and device testing.
Projects Definium has successfully completed in recent years include an automotive fuel control system, agricultural pump and pivot irrigator control and monitoring, humane animal Tracking, a balance-oriented medical rehabilitation system, a theme park ride, and remote river water quality monitoring, amongst many others.
In 2013 Definium was awarded an AusIndustry Clean Technology grant to design and construct an energy monitoring and control system aimed at assisting businesses to reduce their facilities’ greenhouse gas footprint. In 2015 Definium was awarded a grant by Sense-T to build an Irrigation Gateway aimed at monitoring the power and water usage of the agricultural industry in Tasmania. In early 2016 Definium entered into a partnership with the University of Tasmania to create an advanced sensor manufacturing facility in Launceston; construction was completed in late 2016 and resulted in a significant expansion of Definium’s client base and capabilities.
Definium has deployed trials of its LoRa-based sensor technology on farms and within the city of Launceston as it looks forward towards becoming a key player in the Internet of Things. Definium is in the process of developing LoRa-based sensors for international clients and is constantly working to improve the functionality and ease-of-use of its product range. | We enable the Internet of Things. For the past 5 years, DIGIMONDO has been inventing innovative software that transform lives and industries: from industry automation, utilities and logistics to smart city to real estate Digitization. We live a culture that values aligned goals, balanced work-life priorities, continuous learning throughout your career and shared rewards. At DIGIMONDO, we invest in our team and succeed together because we believe that happy, healthy, competitive people drive our growth and market leadership. WHAT WE DO DIGIMONDO enables the Internet of Things by helping customers bridge the physical and digital worlds with unmatched technologies that solve real-life problems and make the world smarter, healthier, greener and safer. With steadily growing revenue streams, DIGIMONDO specializes in standard enterprise software for sensor networks. We make our customers independent of technologies and manufacturers while being uncompromising in terms of data security. Simplifying Digital Transformation, Automation and the Internet of Things Internet of Things is a rapidly evolving technology which is making everything smart. Whether it is factory equipment, cities, children toys or even clothing everything can now be made intelligent by combining sensor technology with exiting IT Systems and new innovations like Machine Learning. The presence of such data-intensive technologies brings an abundance of complexity in binding this all together. Companies struggle with the different formats of sensor data, and their existing and new IT systems struggle to interpret the data without starting complex migration and implementation projects, not knowing it is worth the investment. |
IoT Solutions | On this basis, specialized subsidiaries of EXPEMB have developed a strong expertise in their
respective areas of competences. They also allow their customers to integrate new
technologies and models of development by adapting them to industrial constraints,
economic and normative of the markets served.
Our customers improve their competitiveness against their historical rivals but anticipate
also the rise of new actors on the mainland market.
